My name is Gloria, some of my friends call me Glo. I'm a recent university graduate from Toronto, Canada and I'm running my first half marathon in September 2017! This is my training blog where I will track my progress and share useful resources I come across. Expect training updates alongside (mostly) clean eating recipes...maybe the occasional baked good because my life mantra is everything in moderation! Fun fact, I have a terrible immune system so staying nourished is vital.

As mentioned in my first post, I'm interested in a lot of things. I'm so excited about all the world has to offer! I just want to live, laugh, love and learn. To be honest, this started as a joke because it's so cliche but um...it's a pretty accurate description of how I live my life.

A few other things I enjoy partaking in are bike rides (and of course runs) in the wilderness, yoga (especially of the heated variety), espresso (I had a now-defunct latte blog), baking, bouldering, live music (concerts, musicals, operas...you name it!), exploring the world (near and far), languages, singing (shameless plug for my YouTube channel), and the overall human experience. I'm an appreciator of the little things. I like to get sweaty and not wear shoes. You may see bits and pieces of these things on the blog from time to time.
